Frankie Agnes White, age 93 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018.  She was born April 11, 1925 in Willow Springs, Texas to parents Pat Walker and Sudie Winfrey Walker who preceded her in death along with her husbands, S.C. “Step” Powledge and Woodrow White; special companion, Jim Arnold (Papaw); brothers, Floyd Walker and Herman Walker; and sisters, Biddy Blanks and Betty Jo Dean.

Frankie was a very social and independent lady who loved fishing, dancing, animals, and flowers and gardening.  She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Pursley, and Betty Hollis and husband Bud; sisters, Sarah Cox and husband Bill, and Patsy Weaver; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas officiated by Bro. Zack Currie.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
