Jeffrey Arlon “Jeff” Berton, age 53 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  He was born September 10, 1965 in Conroe, Texas to parents Paul Berton and Glenda Wagner.  He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Berton.

Jeff was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area.  He enjoyed bull riding and loved anything to do with the outdoors such as hunting, fishing, and camping. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Jenny Berton; mother, Glenda Wagner; daughters, Brittany Ratliff and husband Cody, and Chelsey Berton; sisters, Paula Scheno and husband Jamie, Michelle Coogler and husband Allen; caretakers, Frances Overman, Goldie Smith, Aubrey Winzenried, and Ashley Bowen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Hayman Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas
