On November 27, 2018, JW “Dub” Buckner, husband, father, Papa Bear, son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 67. Dub was born on August 17, 1951 in Cleveland, TX.  He was raised in the Tarkington/Cleveland area and graduated from Tarkington High School. Dub will be remembered for his love of family, music, cooking, outdoors and good wine.  Most of all we will remember Dub for his big heart and caring nature.

Dub Buckner will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Julie; his daughter Tasha Buckner Morrow, husband Jason and their 4 children Cameron, Dylan, Kaylin and Payten; his son Joshua Buckner and his 3 children Faith, Kenna and Emaleigh; step-daughter Brandy Unger, husband Matt and their daughter Saylor; step-son Tyler Craig and Crystal Suzuki and their son Kai; and Step-Son Andrew Craig.  Dub will also be forever remembered by his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Katie Buckner and brother Dan Buckner.

A Celebration of JW “Dub” Buckner’s life will be held at 1pm, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, by the lake at Roy Fleming Park, 6262 Creekside Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77389.
