Marvin Dennis (Jack) Furguson, Sr., age 85 of Splendora, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018.  He was born May 13, 1932 in Madisonville, Texas to parents Martin and Annie Furguson who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Ann Dominy, Viola Johnson and Nell Ewing Weeks; and brothers, Clifton Furguson and Joe Ferguson.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Stephens) Furguson; daughter, Marla Bailey and husband Todd; son, Marvin (Jack) Furguson, Jr. and wife Tracie; sisters, Francis Foy and Jeanene Lilley; brothers, Sam Furguson and Martin (Pick) Furguson; grandchildren, Olivia Furguson, Harrison Bailey and Carson Bailey; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
