Jimmy Lavern Howell, age 80 of Huffman, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018.  He was born October 30, 1937 in Ada, Oklahoma to parents Preston and Faye Howell who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Donald, Jack and Ralph Howell; sisters, Jean Jonte and Margaret Evans; great-grandchild, Harper Singletary.

Mr. Howell was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.  He was a hunter and fisherman, and loved to travel. Most of all, he loved his family.

Survivors include his son, Preston Howell; grandchildren, Harley Howell and Layne Howell; dogs, Gringo and Roxie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
