Alice Margaret Burrows, age 93 of League City, Texas, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018.  She was born July 18, 1925 in Tarkington Prairie, Texas to parents Nannie Page Young and Dave Young who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Ernest Young and wife Lorayne, Vernon Young and wife Mabel; sisters, Hazel Watson, Sadie Hanes and husband George, Lola Wehring, Ella Mae Hall and husband Marshall, Lois Smith and husband Doug; and brothers-in-law, Wallace Burrows and Bill Arrendell.

 

Survivors include her son, Larry Burrows and wife Doris Jo; daughter, Carolyn Bartley and husband Greg; brother, Marvin Young and wife Layla; sister, Jerri Arrendell; sister-in-law, Edna Razin and husband Ronnie; brothers-in-law, Arthur Watson and Bill Wehring; grandchildren, Jennifer Gonzales, Tiffany Bartley, Maxx Burrows, Gregory Bartley, II. and wife Dora; great-grandchildren, Chase Gonzales, Blake Gonzales and Gregory Bartley, III; numerous niece and nephews whom she loved very much. Who were a huge part of her life.  Most remember her as an Aunt Alice that was always thrilled for a visit

or phone call and who always enjoyed sharing the word of GOD.

 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
