Verna Lynn Williams, age 73 of Trinity, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018.  She was born October 3, 1944 in Corsicana, Texas to parents John Edward Clanton and Faye Dechaume who she is preceded in death by.

Survivors include her husband, Carol Oliver Williams; sons, Johnny Carol Williams and David Elton Williams; sister, Lela Cargill; brother, George Andrew Payne; grandchildren, John Christopher, Matthew David, Austin Michael and Nathan Robert; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
