Ruth Ann McAnally

Ruth Ann McAnally of Cleveland TX went home to her heavenly father on June 24th, 2019. She was born June 10th, 1943 to late George and Hattie Ormsby and was of the Baptist faith. On June 10th, 1978, She married Larry P. McAnally and he precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers Jim and Larry Ormsby of Doniphan MO along with two sisters-in-law, and one sister Wanda Fleetwood of St. Charles MO. 

 

Surviving to cherish her loving memory are two sons Raymond Hastings, Billy and Julie Emmons of Shepherd TX. Four daughters; Tina and Ron St. Laurent of Gosnell AR, Danette and James Warren of Cleveland TX, Felica and Don Jones, and Gayla and Roland Gunter of Doniphan MO.  Two brothers; Kenny Ormsby of Doniphan MO, Ronnie Ormsby of O’Fallon MO. One sister; Phyllis and Dennis Emmons of Doniphan MO. Her beloved cousin Glenda Davis of Florissant MO. And her fur-baby GiGi. 

 

 Grandchildren; Jennifer and Gerald Williams, Kaci Mireles and Lacee Gresham, Byron and Julie St. Laurent.,  Destiny and Emmanuel Pacheco, Billy “Bubba” Emmons Jr., Jesse Warren, Zachary and Brianna Emmons,  Jerry Warren, and Cheyenne Warren. Great Grandchildren; Brianna and Tyler Swanson, Aaron and Dalton Stallings, Lana and Lillian St. Laurent, Mia and Emmanuel Jr Pacheco, Ashlyn and Brendalyn Warren, Zachary Jr., Oliver and Milo Emmons. Great-great Grandchild; Karlie Williams. 

 

Ruth loved all of her family and friends and was not afraid to show it. There was nothing she would not do for her family. After marrying Larry, they moved to Houston TX where Ruth went to work for the local school district. While working hard and showing the world her strength, she soon began her leadership role in Child Nutrition Services for the school. She maintained that path until her much earned retirement from Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD in 2005. Ruth has left a cherished legacy of love and respect and will be deeply missed by the ones left behind

 

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
