Wendell Ray Robbins, age 62 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018.  He was born February 23, 1956 in Alexandria, Louisiana to parents Claude Vay Robbins and Melba Engle Robbins who preceded him in death, along with his wife, Shirley Robbins; and brother, Johnny Robbins.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jackie Robbins; sons, Bubba Nash and wife Rachel, Jacob Robbins and wife Kayla, and Joshua Robbins and wife Lauren; daughters, Vicki Davis and husband Johnny, and Wendy Robbins and partner Mike; brothers, Raymond Smith, and Larry Robbins and wife Annette; sister, Lavon Soape and husband Bill; grandchildren, Alivia, Garrett, Landen, Isabel, Micah, Liam, Jessa, Taylor, Allen, Daniel and Abby; great-grandchildren, Rosalee, Josh, Rylee, Johnny and one on the way; numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends, as well as his animal companions; dogs, Daisy, Gator and Putter; and cat, Miss Kitty.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.
