James Winston Shoemake, age 74 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018.  He was born October 7, 1943 in Covington County, Mississippi to parents Dennis and Rita Shoemake who he is preceded in death by.

Survivors include his daughters, Vicky Ann Lindsey and husband Charles, and Patricia Shoemake; sister, Sally Bennet; grandchildren, Dylan Orozco, Kristen Orozco, Andrew Lindsey and David Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Lindsey, Ameila White, Logan White, Ezra Campos and Cora Lindsey; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
