Mollie Langston was born on August 13, 1942 in Cooper Texas to Jack and Martha Arnold.  She was their only child, but had some cousins that were like siblings to her.  Her parents moved to Dallas, and she went to high school there.  She earned an Associate’s degree in Nursing at Texas Women’s University, which launched her career in nursing.  She did many different kinds of nursing, working for a variety of doctors, hospitals and clinics.

Mollie is survived by her husband, Jim Langston of Coldspring, and by her two children.  Her oldest son is Scott Marsh of Whitefish, Montana.  Scott’s wife is Diane, and they are proud parents of two of Mollie’s grandchildren: granddaughter Callie, and Mollie’s grandson, Scott Marsh, Jr.

Mollie’s younger son is Todd Marsh, of Olive Branch, Mississippi. His children are Cassidy Marsh and Riley Marsh, Mollie’s grandchildren.  Todd is engaged to Sandi Mitchell.

Mollie is also survived by Jim’s son, Jason Langston and wife, Audra.  Their children are Chloe Langston and Lila Langston.  They live in Kingwood.

And by Jim’s daughter, Jennifer Duncan, and her husband Scott Duncan, who also live in Kingwood.  Their children are Madeline (Maddie) and Max.

She is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins, and was close to all of them.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Coldspring United Methodist Church in Coldspring, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Houston Area Relief Fund http://lakehoustonarearelieffund.org/.
