Carlos (Gene) Delaney, age 74 of Livingston, Texas, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born June 11, 1944 in Sicily Island, Louisiana to parents Clyde Delany and Maggie Delaney who preceded him in death along with his grandsons, Alonzo Gene Delaney and “RJ” Garland Ray Delaney, Jr.; brothers, James Martin (Jim) Delaney, Clyde Rufus Delaney and Charlie Fred Delaney; brothers-in-law, Bill Luells and Jewel Mason; and nephews, Stephen Phillips and Bo McClelland.

Survivors include his daughter, Radonna Lynn Rosario and husband Rick Rosario; sons, Garland Ray Delaney and Ronald (Ron) Eugene Delaney; sisters, Minnie Lee Delaney Holland, Marie Delaney Cowan and Shirley Ann Delaney Sandlin and husband Ron Sandlin; brother, Lynn Delaney; grandchildren, Arianna Rosario, Dominic Rosario and Frederick-Joe Yumi Delaney; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, Livingston, Texas with Rev. Scott Anderson and Rev. Steve Woody officiating. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers will be Bryan Sorola, David Anderson, Tony Kinner, Romeo Peña, Ruben Aguirre, Michael Wells, Brian Tiffee, Thomas Treadwell, Billy Wells, Josh Wells, Jay Free and Larry Townsend.
