Ida Mae West, age 95 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. She was born October 25, 1923 in Pine Prairie, Texas to parents James T. and Lela S. Alley Maness who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harry West; son, Dennis West; sisters, Alpha Clem (Breshers), Francis Day (Breshers), and Madie Mitchell (Maness); brothers, James Maness, and Marvin Maness; and granddaughter, RaLynn Skelton.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Diana O’Neill (West), and Mary Newsom (West); sons, Samuel West, and Gene West; brother, Tommy Maness; grandchildren, Meredith West, Wendy Wright (West), Janet Long (West), Cynthia Harmon (West), Rachel Ramirez (Skelton), Roxann Skelton, David Newsom, and James Newsom; great-grandchildren, Tyler Denny, Dixon Denny, Ainsley Wright, Justin Long, Cameron Kim, Ethan Kim, Marissa Ramirez, Divina Ramirez, Justin Alexander, Krysta Hall (Skelton) David King, Brylee Newsom, Tobie Newsom, Tenly Newsom, and Bailey Newsom; great-great-grandchildren, Shawn Ramirez, Preston Alexander, Jackson Alexander, and Kooper Hall; numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas officiated by Rev. Carl Williamson. Interment will take place at a later date at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cleveland Senior Center, Cleveland, Texas.
