Jennie Dee Wiggins “MeMe”, age 84 of Splendora, Texas, left this life to her new home on December 31, 2018.  She was born February 6, 1934 in Mermentau, Louisiana to parents Rev. Joseph W. Stafford, Sr. and Thelma Stafford who preceded her in death along with her husband, Charles Edward Mead; husband, J.D. Wiggins; and grandchildren, Danny Beasley and Julie Beasley.

Survivors include her sons, Troy Mead and wife Roxie, Glen Mead and wife Joni; daughter, Terri Mead; grandchildren, Desiree Schafer and husband Jeff, Edward Mead and wife Ashley, Samantha Goss and husband Kevin, Nicole Schorsch and husband Peter, Jamie Mead, Joey Beasley and wife Justinn; great-grandchildren, Jade, Madison, Joseph, Peter, Mallory, Nate, Owen, Derek, Trevor, David, Sidney, Sarah, Daniel, Channing and Carter; along with numerous family and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Splendora Assembly of God Church, Splendora, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Splendora Assembly of God Church, Splendora, Texas with Rev. Christopher Goodrum, Rev. Charles Pierce and Rev. Glen Mead officiating. Interment will be held at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Splendora Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 1090, Splendora, TX 77372.
